CES 2000 Live From Las Vegas Page 5 | ||||||||

Here we are our third and final day at the 2000 CES show in Las Vegas. To start the day off I headed over to the Innovations area at the Sands convention center. This show was really spread out, and was located in five of more locations. The Innovations section showcased all of the new and exciting equipment located throughout the show.
Oh well I'm glad that they didn't leave it up to me to make that choice.

Here is a case just chock full of Home Theater goodies that any enthusiast would just love to get his/her hands on! Most are not even on the market yet.
This is an electrostatic speaker, if you have never heard one, find your local really high end audio store and give it a listen you will be amazed, just don't look at the price, ouch! |

This
proscan HDTV model to the right was selected as best of show. I wish there
was someone to ask why, this set looked good and all but there were so
many good looking sets at this show how could chose one over the other.
Also
in the innovations area we find this Kenwood receiver with a really
interesting LCD remote to control everything. I remote that is easy to use
now there is a new twist.
Ok
just one more quick one here, a complete audio system from Polk Audio. I
got a chance to listen to this one in Polk's booth a little later on and
let me tell you it sounds really good. And it looks like the price point
is about right, the question now? When?
