rental favorite, THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, making the movie available to
own for the first time – on video and DVD – beginning August 3, 1999. The
definitive THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY release, the SPECIAL EDITION features
side-splitting never-before-seen bonus footage that was not available on the
movie’s rental edition. This one-of-a-kind must-own comedy also contains a
special karaoke music video of the movie’s adopted theme song ”Build Me Up
Buttercup,” that features words on-screen, highlighted by the movie’s
now-famous pooch, ”Puffy.” Hailed as ”cheerfully crude and way over the
line,” (Los Angeles Times), the ”Outrageous,” (People Magazine)
video and DVD will be ownably priced at $19.98 and $34.98, respectively.

THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY is the strange love story of the nerdy,
angst-driven Ted (Stiller) who is still suffering from a high school crush on
Mary (Diaz) and tracks her down thirteen years later with the help of a sleazy
private investigator (Dillon) – who also falls for her. Unfortunately, every
man who meets Mary finds himself head over heels in love with her and determined
to win her hand.

SOMETHING ABOUT MARY SPECIAL EDITION - DVD RELEASE
The THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY SPECIAL EDITION DVD release will also include
the same exciting and collectible never-before-released bonus footage and
karaoke video released on the VHS version. Presented in its original theatrical
aspect ratio (1:85:1), the highly anticipated disc also features a bonus audio
commentary track with writer/director brothers Peter and Bobby Farrelly and
contains the film’s original theatrical trailer.
