Bear in the Big Blue House: Party Time With Bear

DVD Review by Yanman

"To the Bear Swing!"

I don't have any children but if I did, I'm sure that I would be on the lookout for high quality, educational, and fun DVDs for them to watch. Party Time With Bear meets these criteria and more, your kids will love it and you may even get a chuckle or two out of it, be careful or you too may find yourself dancing to the "Bear Cha Cha Cha." There are three episodes of the TV series here that we will detail below. Audio and video are only slightly better than broadcast quality, but certainly better than a VHS recording of them (and do you think your 4 year old will notice?). Extras include six interactive Sing-Alongs.

"Mouse Party"

It's Tutter's birthday, and his friends are throwing him a surprise party. Cake, presents, and decorations are all around, and we all learn how to have fun at the party, even if it is not our turn to be the center of attention.

"Bear's Birthday Bash"

Bear only wants one thing for his birthday, some rest, and relaxation; his friends however have other plans. See how they manage to put together a big birthday bash right under Bear's super sensitive nose.

"Dancin' the day Away"

Tutter's friends teach him how to dance, are you ready to cha cha cha? Let the members of the big blue house show you how.

When it comes to big family fun, there is one name that still stands tall, and that name is Jim Henson. Jim Henson's Bear in the Big Blue House is just one example of why that statement is true. Just sit back, sing-along and enjoy all the fun that Bear can offer. Is that you that smells like honey?
