Dennis Miller Live from Washington D.C

DVD Review by Yanman

"I vent therefore I am"

Dennis Miller proves that the first amendment is still alive and well, at least in the world of comedy. It is hard to write a review of one man standing on stage telling jokes. Some are thought provoking, others are just silly, some you will like, and still others might make you angry.

If you are a big Dennis Miller fan, (and my guess a Democrat) you may want to add this DVD to your comedian collection. For most people this will be a one-time renter, which provides a few chuckles, and little more.

Audio and video are both TV quality (from HBO, so maybe a bit better then the network broadcasts), and get a below average marks. Extras are expectedly nonexistent.

Having been shot in 1993 some of the material is already dated here, and bound to only get worse. The best thing I can say here is "nice suit Dennis" at least the man knows how to dress. Hey who knows, maybe if I insult enough people, I can get my own HBO special…and then Dennis Miller can critique me.
