It's 4th of July, and 4 teenagers are celebrating their high school graduation. The cast includes Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anne Heche, and Johnny Galecki. After partying all night at the beach, they decide on the least drunk person to drive home. On their drive down a winding road on the shore of N. Carolina, Ray (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) accidentally hits a man They dispose of the body and vow to keep the incident a secret. One year later somebody starts sending them letters bearing the warning "I Know What You Did Last Summer." At that point the panicked foursome becomes the target of an elusive serial killer whose disguise consists of a fisherman's slicker and a lethal ice hook. The night before a town parade, the former pageant winner Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) has her hair chopped off by the psycho while she's sleeping. Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) wakes up that morning to find the body of her friend Max (Johnny Galecki) in her trunk. They desperately try to find this person thinking that they can talk to him. They trace the dead body in the news to a David Eagen. The girls head off to the sole family member of David's, his sister played by Anne Heche, to try to get some information. I don't want to ruin too much of this movie, but I do recommend it. All in all this movie was good. Unfortunately they left the ending undone, so they can produce a sequel, which is actually coming out this Fall. Directed by Jim Gillespie Well, Craig & I rented the DVD player and saw I Know What You Did Last Summer. We've seen it in the theater, but we wanted to see the difference. At first there doesn't seem to be a difference, but once you get further into the movie, boy can you see the difference! The colors are much better, & the sound is fantastic. DVD Features Interactive Menus Side A: Widescreen version preserves the original 2.35:1 theatrical
aspect ratio.
